Restaurant Review { Cafe Nell }

My friends and I are travel junkies. We’ve been lucky to travel the world but we still spend too much time daydreaming and wanderlusting over the places we wish we could be. While Portland may not be the most international destination in the world, hidden gems around the city take you away from the Northwest and drop you in the nooks of Beijing in Chinatown, Athens in downtown, New Delhi in North Portland and Paris in Northwest.

Well if you are looking to dine at an adorable bistro plucked right off of a Parisian street, look no further than Cafe Nell in Northwest on 19th and Kearney. This quaint little eatery has a delicious brunch menu and an adorable atmosphere. We did not have to be wait to be seated despite going on a Sunday. The portions were perfect and the pricing was middle of the row for brunch in P-town. We tried their french toast made of thick fluffy brioche and garnished with a delectable berry compote; the eggs benedict had a rich, thick hollandaise sauce that was perfection; the green eggs dish made of hard boiled eggs stuffed with avocado, pomegranate seeds and brown rice was definitely the healthiest option on the menu but the dish lacked much flavor.  he lovely atmosphere, the good food and reasonable prices will definitely have us going back very soon!!

Have you ever been to Cafe Nell? What dishes do you recommend?
